MLK Day is the only U.S. federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. As V Teamers, we believe in supporting neighbors and building communities that move the world forward together.  We believe in unity, equity, racial and social justice.

Let’s reflect on all we have, ways we can bring our community together and how we can use MLK Day to be a day of service to others.  We do better by doing good, so let’s use this opportunity to remind people that they can make a real difference that goes beyond sharing good intentions. You can find a variety of activities to serve the community on our Verizon and Verizon Media volunteer portals. No level of activity is too big or too small.

Remember, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
