When we first launched our Race and Social Justice Action Toolkit last summer, we acknowledged that conversations on race and social justice are not easy. That's precisely why they are necessary. For there to be any real and sustainable change, we have to engage in open and honest dialogue, no matter how uncomfortable it may be.
Dr. King's teachings implored the world to listen closely, speak freely and come together peacefully to strengthen our humanity. If anything, his words are even more powerful and relevant today as we work to address systemic racism and continued injustice.
In honor of MLK Day, we worked with V Teamers across our BOLD Employee Resource Group and our #Next20 editorial team to source books and resources that reflect his indelible impact and lasting legacy. We updated the toolkit with these new additions so that everyone has access to a constellation of MLK-inspired content.
