Verizon encouraged by new FCC initiatives to fight robocalls

Washington, DC -- Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai today unveiled plans for a new initiative to help consumers block robocalls.  The following statement should be attributed to Will Johnson, Verizon senior vice president of federal regulatory and legal affairs:
