In August and September, we told you about a variety of enhancements that Verizon has been making to FiOS TV Video on Demand. In our never ending effort to deliver the best in quality video programming and features, we’re introducing even more new features to make the overall FiOS TV on demand experience even better.
Perhaps one of the most exciting enhancements coming your way is a new monthly promotion called “Rent/Buy 3; Get 1 Rental On Us!” Customers who rent or purchase three Flex View or video-on-demand titles within a month will receive one free Flex View rental. That free rental must be redeemed within seven days of the purchase/rental of your third title. Try it this month – purchase or rent three movies in December and qualify for a free Flex View rental.
One of the enhancements we told you about in September involved the ability to pre-purchase select titles on FiOS on demand. This feature lets you pre-purchase a movie that is coming soon to FiOS TV, and have it ready and waiting as soon as it becomes available. This snazzy feature has been further enhanced with “Coming Soon” e-mails, and so that means that when you select one of these titles for purchase, you’ll receive two e-mails. The first e-mail confirms your pre-purchase, and the second notifies you when the title becomes available. You won’t be billed until the title is ready to watch, and you can cancel any time before then, if you change your mind.
A third enhancement that FiOS TV customers will notice is new banners – or what we call poster hats – above select titles in the video-on-demand menu. These banners provide a quick look at specific information, including whether the title is new to FiOS TV on demand, if it’s a top seller, if it’s on sale, and if it’s available “Before Netflix.”
Another new addition to the FiOS TV on demand experience involves a new folder you may have already seen called “My Current Offer.” This new folder, located with My Library, lists all of the offers and promotions available to each specific customer. Make sure to check this folder for any new promotions.
With over 40,000 video-on-demand titles available each month, more than half of which are included with Flex View, there are options for the entire family. Make sure to check out the latest titles available, and enjoy all the new enhancements!
