New Infospeed DSL
Tariff Lowers Term and Volume Thresholds for Discounts!
A revised Term and Volume Discount Plan for Infospeed DSL was filed earlier
with the FCC, with an effective date of January 22, 2001. This new tariff
option lowers the volumes to 500 and 1,000 for the 3 and 5 year contract
terms, respectively (see matrix below). The previous thresholds for
discounts were 1,000 (3 year) and 5,000 (5 year).

Notes:
- 7.1 mbps service will be offered in the former GTE territories
where available.
- 1.5 mbps service will be provisioned at 1.5 mbps in the former
GTE territories and 1.6 mbps in the former Bell Atlantic
territories.
- All DSL lines, including symmetrical ADSL lines, will be
provisioned as a UBR (unspecified bit rate)service, with no QOS
(quality of service) guarantees.
- The former GTE territories will grandfather existing Bronze,
Platinum, and Platinum Plus customers for the duration of their
contracts.
