Fios® TV Local

Getting started with Fios TV is easy, once you complete the installation or activation process:

• Using your Fios remote turn your TV to Channel 131, Fios Learning On Demand where support is available 24 hours, 7 days a week

1. You will need to locate or purchase a coax cable
2. Standard Install: Connect the coax cable from your TV^* to a coax wall outlet
3. Alternate Install: If a Fios router is already connected to the coax wall out, then use a splitter. Connect a second coax cable from the splitter to the TV^*

^* Connection supported on TVs with a QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) digital tuners or those with a digital converter box with a QAM digital tuner.

TV models vary, so the best option is to use channel scan instructions from your TV owner’s manual. General instructions are below.

1. Press the Menu or Settings button on your TV remote control
2. Locate the Channels or Tuner Set Up option
3. Choose Antenna Type or Connection Type
4. Choose Antenna or Cable
5. Make the designated setting Cable
   (alternate choices may include Digital Cable, CATV or Cable STD)
6. Select Digital Channel Search
   (alternate choices may include Channel Scan, Channel Search or Autoprogram.)
7. Allow time for your TV to complete the search. You will see a bar listing how many channels have been found. The process may take up to an hour.
8. Once complete, confirm the menu prompt, then press an exit or quit option
