Google One AI Premium perk with select mobile and home plans FAQs

You can choose this perk when you sign up for an eligible mobile phone or home internet plan. We'll help you set up a Google One account.

Or when you have an eligible plan, you can add the perk anytime in My Verizon:

1. Sign into either your:
   1. Mobile account (phone and/or wireless home internet) - Select Services & Perks and scroll down to view perks your plan is eligible for*. Choose a perk.
   2. Fios account - Perks your plan is eligible for display under Recommended perks. Choose a perk.
2. Select the wireless line or Fios account to add the perk to. Follow the prompts to add and activate the perk.

Yes. Here's what happens when your Google account already has an annual or monthly Google One subscription through Google.

When you enroll and register the perk using the email associated with that Google account, you’ll have the option to cancel your existing annual or monthly subscription and register the perk.

Good to know: When you cancel your existing subscription, you may lose any remaining value associated with that subscription.

Here's what happens when you have a Google account with an annual or monthly Google One subscription through a third party.

When you enroll and register the perk using the email associated with your Google account, you won't be able to register the perk. You must separately cancel your existing annual or monthly subscription. Then you can register the perk.

Here's what happens when you already have a Google account with an annual or monthly Google One subscription through the Apple App store.

When you enroll and register the perk using the email associated with your Google account, your original subscription is not replaced. You will have 2 Google One subscriptions.

If you don't want 2 subscriptions you must cancel your existing annual or monthly subscription directly with Apple.

No. When you have a Google One promotion and then enroll in and register the Google One AI Premium perk using the email associated with that Google account, the promotion doesn't carry over.

Here's what happens when you have a Google One AI Premium perk subscription through Verizon and try to register for another Google One AI Premium perk using the same email associated with that Google account. We'll ask you to register with a different email address.

Download the apps from the Play Store on your Android phone or from the App Store on your iOS phone.

When you add the Google One AI Premium perk to your eligible mobile line or home internet account:

• Billing starts when the eligible mobile line or home internet plan or Fios account is active and you order the perk.
• The $10/month per line charge appears on your:
  • Mobile bill if the perk is added to your mobile phone plan, 5G Home, 5G Home Plus, LTE Home or LTE Home Plus (wireless internet) plan.
  • Fios Home Internet bill if the perk is added to your Fios Home Internet account.
• By activating each subscription, you will have access to the perk as soon as billing starts.

The perk renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel your perk subscription anytime through My Verizon.

If you cancel your Google One AI Premium perk the subscription is canceled immediately. The $10/month charge is prorated.

Example: If you added the perk on the first of the month, you're billed $10 for that month. If you cancel on the 15th, you get a $5 credit for the 16th to the 30th.

To cancel:

• Mobile phone, 5G Home, LTE Home accounts - Visit My Verizon, then select Services & Perks to manage the perk.

• Fios Home Internet account - Visit My Verizon. On your homepage, scroll down to view your perks. Select the perk to manage.
  

Here's what happens if you change your eligible plan or Fios account. If you:

• Change the line with the perk from a qualifying plan to another qualifying plan, your perk won't change.
• If you cancel your qualifying plan or account, or change to a non-qualifying plan, your Google One AI Premium subscription through Google ends immediately.

You can make changes or cancel anytime through My Verizon.

If you cancel Verizon service your perk is canceled.

If you cancel during the perk subscription cycle, the $10 perk charge will be prorated.

Example: If you added the perk on the first of the month, you're billed $10 for that month. If you cancel on the 15th, you get a $5 credit for the 16th to the 30th.

If you suspend the line that has the perk during the bill cycle, the $10 perk charge is refunded.
