The cost of Verizon 5G Home Internet depends on the plan and payment method you choose. Potential savings include:

Yes. When you have Verizon for your mobile and then order home internet services, we discount your home internet every month.*

This discount stays in effect as long as you keep the qualifying services. Customers with qualifying plans will automatically receive the below discount:

• Save $15/month on 5G Home or $25/month on 5G Home Plus with Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus, or these no-longer-available plans:
  • 5G Play More, 5G Do More, 5G Get More, Play More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, Get More Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited 5G UW, Above Unlimited 5G UW
• Save $5/month on 5G Home or $15/month on 5G Home Plus with any other Verizon standard monthly mobile phone plan.

Note: If you have more than one Verizon home internet service, the discount applies to each service. Discount is in addition to any Auto Pay and paper-free billing discount.**

Yes. The Verizon Forward Program is our discounted internet service for eligible customers. Verizon Forward provides an up to $20/month discount for each eligible household.

Important: If you had the ACP discount for Verizon LTE Home Internet, you’re already enrolled in the Verizon Forward Program. You’ll keep getting the Verizon Forward discount even after the ACP shuts down.

The Verizon Visa® Card is issued by Synchrony Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.

We guarantee that your monthly 5G Home service price won’t change for either:

• 2 years with the 5G Home plan
• 3 years with the 5G Home Plus plan

And, since there's no annual contract, you’re in control.

When your guarantee period is over, we’ll give you advance notice of pricing changes, if any.

If for any reason you're unhappy with your 5G Home service, you can cancel and get a refund of the service charge.* To be eligible for the refund you must:

• Disconnect within the first 30 days after setup of service.
• Return the equipment within 30 days from the date of disconnection.
• Learn more with our Home Internet Terms of Service.

Your 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee refund will be either:

• A one-time bill credit.
• A refund to your original payment method if you don't have a mobile account or other wireless home internet plan with us.

If you see an unreturned equipment fee** on your bill, it may mean that:

• We're still processing your return. Allow 30-60 days for us to process and issue your refund.
• You didn't return our equipment.

When we get your return recorded, we refund this charge. In the meantime, you must cover this cost to avoid late fees.

*Limit of one credit on one eligible address on your account.

If your current Internet provider charges an early termination fee, you may be eligible for an up to $500 bill credit when you switch to Verizon. To be eligible for this bill credit, you must:

• Have signed up for Verizon 5G Home Internet service after 4/29/21.
• Have been charged an early termination fee within 30 days before and 90 days after your Verizon 5G Home Internet setup.

Note:

• Only an early termination fee for disconnecting a home internet service either by itself or bundled with TV from another provider qualifies for a bill credit up to $500.
• Any other charges or services, including but not limited to, taxes, service fees, equipment fees, late fees, mobile services, or fees to disconnect standalone TV service from a satellite or cable provider, are not eligible.

If you're eligible for a bill credit, you must submit your request within 90 days of your Verizon 5G Home Internet setup. Here's how to get a bill credit for your previous provider's early termination fee:

1. Go to the 5G Home Internet bill credit page.
2. Upload a full copy of the final bill from your previous provider:
   • Clearly show your full name, address and ETF amount.
   • The name or address on your Verizon 5G Home account must match the name or address of the prior provider's bill.
   • The date on the submitted bill must be no earlier than 30 days prior to or 90 days after activation of 5G Home Internet.
   • The final bill must show an early termination fee. If the fee isn't displayed, contact your previous provider.

Note: You must have 5G Home Internet service with an account in good standing with Verizon for at least 90 days after receiving the early termination fee bill credit, or the credit that was applied to your account will be charged back on your final Verizon bill.

You'll see a variety of shipping and setup options when you order.

You can check the status of your home internet order by either:

• Visiting the Order Status page.
  
  Use the order number and location code from our confirmation email.
• Signing in to the My Verizon app or website to view your orders.

When you order Home Internet service, you’ll receive a router suited to the network coverage in your area:

• The 5G Home/5G Home Plus monthly charge includes our state-of-the-art Verizon Internet Gateway router and Ultra Wideband receiver.*
• 5G Home Plus also offers the use of a Verizon Wi-Fi Extender** (optional).

Most equipment is prepared to plug and play so you can set it up yourself.

• Professional setup may be available in some areas.

*If you cancel service, you must return the Verizon-owned equipment or you'll be charged an unreturned equipment fee.

To discontinue your 5G Home Internet service you can do any of these:

• Visit the disconnect page in My Verizon to see if you're eligible to cancel your service online. After you disconnect online, we email you equipment return information. You must return the Verizon-owned equipment or you'll be charged an unreturned equipment fee.
• Sign into My Verizon. Choose Chat with us (in the My Verizon app use the "snowflake" icon.) Type "Cancel" into the Ask a question box. Follow the prompts to disconnect your service or choose to chat with a live agent.
• Call Customer Service before disconnecting to see if you qualify for additional savings.

After you contact us to cancel 5G Home Internet service, we'll send a box and postage-paid return label to the service address on your account:

• Allow up to 10 business days for the materials to arrive by the US Postal Service.
• Box up the router and/or receiver and power adapter (not cords/cables).
• Include the Wi-Fi Extender, if applicable.
• Return by US Postal Service within 30 days of canceling your service.
• If you need another return kit, call us.
• To print a 5G Home Internet return label, Chat with us.

Important: If you return the Verizon-owned equipment but don't cancel your 5G Home Internet service, you'll still be charged for the service. Visit the Verizon 5G Home Internet, LTE Home Internet & All Access Terms of Service for more information and equipment return requirements.

5G Home Internet service has no annual contracts and we don't charge a disconnection fee. However, you must return the Verizon-owned equipment or you'll be charged an unreturned equipment fee.

Important: If you return the Verizon-owned equipment but don't cancel your 5G Home Internet service, you continue to be charged your monthly service fee. 

Because 5G Home Internet is now available at your address, we're upgrading your service at no additional charge.

Once you’re upgraded:

• You get faster internet - using the same Verizon Internet Gateway router.
• A new 2-year price guarantee takes effect the date your plan is upgraded.
• You must activate your new 5G Home Internet plan.

Note: Certain transactions or account changes completed during your scheduled upgrade may result in a cancellation of your upgrade. View what to do if your upgrade isn't successful.

When we upgrade your LTE Home Internet to 5G Home Internet, one plan ends and a new one begins. You may see partial (prorated) charges if the upgrade happened mid-cycle. Your bill total will be the same as your previous bill.

To activate your new 5G Home Internet plan, you must reboot the Verizon Internet Gateway:

1. Unplug the router, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
2. The white light will blink for about 3 minutes.
3. When the blinking stops, press and hold the WPS (pairing) button for 5 seconds, then release. This puts the router in Setup Mode.
4. When a solid white light displays, your new plan is in effect.

If the solid white LED doesn't display, refer to Verizon Internet Gateway - Activate / Set Up Device. A solid red light means there's no internet service at the router’s current location.

Note: You have 30 days to change back to the LTE Home Internet plan, for any reason. After 30 days, service availability will determine whether you can return to the LTE plan.

Your choice. You can use your old provider's service until you've got the Verizon 5G Home Internet service set up. Then you can cancel the other Wi-Fi internet service.

We’re expanding our 5G Home Internet coverage everyday. So it's possible for your neighbor to have 5G Home Internet, but it's not yet available at your address.
