Gizmo Watch 3 introduces kids to wireless technology safely. Only parent-approved contacts¹ can call or text your child’s watch, and the watch can’t access any internet content. Use the GizmoHub app² on your phone to easily keep up on your child’s Gizmo location on the map. With an SOS button, voice and video calling³, and text messaging, staying in touch with your child is as close as their wrist. And now, Gizmo Watch 3 includes a touchscreen keyboard for kids to type precisely what they want to say in their messages.

We got this watch for our daughter who is getting involved in after school activities. It gives us a peace of mind to be able to contact her and to track her to know where she is at all times.

You get what you pay for

It’s fine for what I need but the interface is clunky, it doesn’t charge consistently, and is glitchier than I’d like. Its cheap which is nice, but you get what you pay for.

Numbers must be registered through the GizmoHub App. Gizmo Watch 3 permits up to twenty contacts, including the primary registered caregiver.
Dependent on carrier coverage. Device must be turned on. Verizon makes no representations or warranties about the availability or accuracy of the GPS or about the accuracy or completeness of any map data or other information.
A video call has a three minute time-duration limit to prevent the device from overheating. Video calls end automatically after the three minute duration.
Battery life and charge cycles vary with use, settings, and other factors; actual results will vary.
Data usage applies for app download and use. Video and photo features are available only on Gizmo Watch 3 and Gizmo Watch Disney Edition.

GizmoWatch 3 now includes a touchscreen keyboard so kids can say exactly what they want to say, instead of being limited to a list of prewritten messages. They can have a text chat with a parent-approved contacts individually or with everyone at once in a Gizmo group chat. Using the GizmoHub app, parents can create their child’s Gizmo chat groups and select members for the group.

Stay focused, be active and have fun.

Encourage a sense of responsibility in your child by creating a task list in the GizmoHub app that syncs with the Gizmo Watch 3, as does setting a daily step goal. For fun, there's Tic-Tac-Toe, a timed jumping game, a pattern-matching game called Gizmo Says, and Puzzle. Kids can even learn about the local weather forecast from their Gizmo Watch 3 and choose a digital watch face that changes with the seasons.

Let kids be Gizmo buddies.

Siblings or friends with Gizmo watches can be set up in the GizmoHub app as Gizmo buddies⁶ so they can call, video call or message each other with emojis, photos and voice or video recordings. In addition, Gizmo Watch 3 has a new way to make Gizmo buddies. If two Gizmo Watch 3's are in the same room, they can find each other's watches via Bluetooth and send requests to their parents to be Gizmo buddies.

Worry less about the “where are you?”

Of course, your child's location is a top concern. That's why location and map features are front and center on the GizmoHub app. Create multiple location alerts to know your child's location at a specific time each day, or when they cross in or out of specific areas. Tap the refresh location or real-time tracking buttons to get location updates on demand. Also, your child can easily use their Gizmo Watch 3 to check in and send you a real-time location notification.

We got this watch as a Christmas present for our son. At first it started off as a great gift and were able to use it. Overtime the location feature starts to lag and get stuck at locations where the watch is not located and will not update unless you turn the watch on and off, which is a pain in itself. The school feature also randomly triggers on and off outside of scheduled times when it should be triggering. We’ve reached out to customer service multiple times about the watch. The only way to reach them is to email where they ask you a never ending loop of the same questions and provide no help on how to rectify the situation. Overall, for what we paid and for the monthly cost to have a plan on it, I would not recommend this watch.

Great the 1st year only, now software issues, broken band, and charging issues.

The first year was great. Then we started getting Android Recovery messages and we had to do a factory reboot. This has happened a few times now and the watch is two years old this month. We clean the prongs for the charger, but we still have charging issues. This started about 2 months ago. Also, the plastic that the band clips into broke about 8 months ago, but I was able to super glue it back together. The super glue has worn out and now I cannot find the piece to glue it back together. The watch is now a pocket watch until I replace it with something else.

The video calling wasn’t working on this brand new watch. By the time I got off a THREE hour call with customer service, NOTHING worked! Believe the reviews and skip the gizmo 3.

Watch is very age appropriate for kids under 10. It’s a good tester for responsibility to keep a watch.

Ever since I received this Gizmo, we have NOT been able to use it. I have called & still no resolution. Yet, I'm still paying for it. I was supposed to receive a call back BY YESTERDAY from the Supervisor and NO CALL!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I got this for my 6 year old. He and his 4 year old sister will be going to their mothers for the summer and I want to be able to communicate with them more than I was able to last year. So far this is perfect and so easy for him to use. Video chat is clear and so far everything is more than I expected.

What is the difference between a regular smart watch and one issued by a phone carrier?

Our Smart watches must be activated with their own cellular plans as opposed to smartwatches purchased directly from manufacturers that may have Wi-Fi only capability. -Necia
