This Gizmo is ready for adventure, with a diamond-like coating protecting its larger 1.6" display from scratches. It comes with a wireless dock that makes it easy to just set it down, charge it up and go. For young minds, there’s a math game for turning idle time into learning time. Gizmo helps kids stay active with a daily step goal that you set for them in the GizmoHub app. Parents can use GizmoHub⁴ to manage, text, call¹ and locate² their child’s Gizmo. And with voice calls, a QWERTY keyboard and speech-to-text messages, it’s easy for kids and parents to stay in contact. This Gizmo model is without camera for parents who prefer to not have that option.

Gizmo 3 takes a HUGE step back from Gizmo 2.

We previously had the Gizmo 2 watch for 2.5 years until it recently stopped charging and we decided to upgrade. For reference, my kid is in 5th grade and has had their Gizmo 2 since the start of 3rd grade. We chose the Gizmo Watch 3 Adventure as our upgrade. A couple of notes as we've now had the new watch for 2 weeks. Its much bigger and looks ridiculous. Its is so big, why! The Gizmo 2 was a great size and did not stand out as anything other than a watch. The Gizmo 3 is SO much bigger. Not only that but the color options are lame. We chose the Gizmo 3 Adventure because it was able in grey. My kid does not like wearing this new watch because it stands out so much and in some sweatshirts it didn't event fit under his sleeve. I don't know why it got bigger and boxier. As a parent who is trying to avoid the switch to a phone as long as I can, this device does not help. The Gizmo 2 never caused an issue, this new Gizmo 3 looks like Fischer Price designed it. Sad to see the device take a step back in design as it had previously been such a great asset in being connected to my kid without having to give them a phone. A sleeker look would have been so much better and really helped bridge the gap between this device and a phone. Because of this clunky chunky update, I am not considering just getting my kid a phone for middle school.

Keep in touch through voice calls and in-app messaging. Gizmo Watch 3 - Adventure comes with an accurate, easy to use QWERTY keyboard. Another cool feature is speech-to-text, allowing kids to talk to their Gizmo and have their words transcribed into text messages. Text message conversations can be one-to-one or a group chat. My gizmo quit working after one day. It was fully charged and now won’t turn on. The app just still it’s at 95% charged but screen won’t work. Tried resetting and nothing.

If I add a contact for my child they cannot text them- only call. The only way to text is if I give that person permission as a caretaker in which they have to download the gizmo app and can only text and receive texts to and from the watch from the app

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is absolutely perfect for my 8 year old son. So many amazing features! He never carry’s his phone so this is a great way to still track him and talk to him when he is playing outside or going to school.
