ACNA Level Exemptions

Verizon Telecom (VZT) customers may certify that an entire ACNA is qualified for FUSF surcharge exemption treatment by Verizon. Certifying at the ACNA level is a representation to Verizon that all current and future BANs under a given ACNA are or will be exempt from the FUSF surcharge. Customers can change to BAN level exemptions at any time during the year if necessary.

BAN Level Exemptions

Verizon Telecom (VZT) customers may certify at the BAN level and any new BAN will require certification at the time the BAN is established.

Verizon Business (VZB) customers must certify at the BAN level. Any circuits identified as not exempt must be moved to a new or existing non-exempt VZB BAN. If a VZB BAN is not located in the portal, the customer should contact customer service and request a FUSF Exemption via a paper form.

Circuit Level Exemptions

Verizon Telecom (VZT) customers may certify at the circuit level. If you have non-exempt circuits that are billed on exempt BANs or ACNAs, please identify all non-exempt circuits by clicking on "yes" to exempt at the circuit level and then proceed as instructed. Simply update the circuits you wish to change, upload the list, and proceed through the subsequent screens to submit and sign the certification.
