Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) Surcharge Exemption

 

 

Verizon applies a Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) surcharge to eligible revenues.  A Verizon customer may seek an exemption from this surcharge if the customer meets the requirements established by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). To seek an exemption, you must have a valid user ID and password with access to the FUSF Resale Certification application.*


*By using this website to complete the FUSF Resale Certification, user represents that they are authorized to complete the Certification for the Form 499 Filer ID number(s) provided.

The Annual FUSF Resale Exemption process will run from January 1 - February 29, 2024.

Any FUSF exemptions that are not recertified by February 29, 2024 will be removed.

Exemption Levels

When completing the FUSF Resale Certification, customers may certify their service(s) as resold at different levels, such as, ACNA level, BAN level, and Circuit level.
