I purchased this phone but although the price online is $79.99, by the time I paid for taxes, and activation fees I paid $150 after negotiating from an initial $171 out the door? Why are these additional costs not mentioned in your online ad?

I switched my MIL’s broken iPhone 7 for this simpler phone due to the more advanced features of newer model of iPhones being too difficult for her. I explicitly asked the Verizon chat support if this phone would support Call Filter Plus. They said all perks that were with the previous phone would be available with this flip. It wasn’t. Now getting an SE2020

Thank you for your feedback. The Call Filter Plus is an app that runs on the Android OS smartphone. The Flip 3 is a simple flip phone that runs on KaiOS. It doesn't have this app. However, the Flip 3 has the blocking feature that you can manually prevent the same caller from calling. - Kevin.

When phone rings you open the phone and the call is disconnected. Try getting a replacement under warranty but that failed. Verizon wanted to upgrade but that cost. Why not fix the problem before trying to sell.

They gave me the wrong phone, I was supposed to have the internet as well and when I took it back to point it out to them, "they stated sorry no problem", then of course I had to pay a restocking fee & another activation fee. Plus, miraculously the price he quoted to me twice, doubled by the time I walked out of there.

I got a new flip phone a few months ago and then put it through the washer. I wanted a replacement. The associate said they had one. I didn't intend to get an upgrade and didn't know I was. Since it is "an upgrade," that apparently meant an increase in my monthly charge of $10. That was not explained to me at all. In addition, this model seems to need to be charged much more frequently.

Also, we hope that you find this new phone has better use and has good features that it has to offer. The battery that it comes with is not as big as most smartphone. There are ways to reduce the power consumption by reducing the brightness on the screen or the time it stays on; or disconnect Bluetooth or Wi-Fi if it is not being used to keep it from searching. It is recommended that the phone be charged daily, since it is constantly on and connecting to the cellular node. Where there is weaker signal, the phone will automatically amplify and consume more power, so you will need to charge the battery more often. If you're in a strong signal area, your phone will not consume less power, and the battery charge will last longer. I purchased this phone for my 80 year old uncle and added him to my plan. The Trac phone folks were not helping him with a broken phone. He is loving his new phone! I am so glad that y'all still offer this old school option for folks who don't want a smart phone.

how do you turn on speaker phone?
