Discover how Verizon is empowering communities to foster disaster resilience through innovative technology.
Verizon, in partnership with United Way and Hyfi, is leading the way in enhancing flood resilience. Through the Verizon Disaster Resilience - Flood Sensor Initiative, we’re providing local communities with the tools they need to prepare for, and recover from, floods. Here’s how we’re making a difference:
- Providing local communities with essential tools and support mechanisms for better flood preparedness and recovery.
- Installing state-of-the-art sensors to track flooding in real time. This allows for more efficient emergency responsiveness and improved community resilience.
- Hosting educational workshops and activities to empower our community with knowledge and resources.
