On today’s edition of Up To Speed, we shared the good news that our Total Rewards package has now been upgraded. Thanks to your feedback V Team, three new benefits have been added with holistic wellness in mind.

Gympass

Verizon continues to look for ways to invest in the wellness of our V Team. Available now, we have teamed up with Gympass. Gympass is an all-in-one digital wellness platform with access to gyms and studios, live-streamed classes, personal training, and a plethora of well-being apps.

U.S. management employees only can sign up for Gympass and up to three family members can be added to any employee account.

To sign up for Gympass follow these steps:

1. Use this link: https://gympass.com/en-us or check your inbox for an email from Gympass with the subject line: “[E] Welcome to Gympass: Enter a world of unlimited wellbeing” and use the link provided.
2. Click on the sign up button in the top-right of your screen, then search for your company name and select Verizon.
3. Fill in the required information.

You’re all set! Start exploring Gympass’ plans, gyms and studios. For the best user experience, please download the Gympass app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Gympass offers a FREE digital plan that includes access to wellbeing apps and virtual classes for everyone. Plans for in-person fitness start at just $11.99, which includes access to gyms such as Gold’s Gym, Crunch, Orange Theory, Lifetime and SoulCycle and wellbeing apps such as Calm.

2nd.MD.

Getting a medical diagnosis from your doctor can sometimes leave you feeling uneasy, sometimes we may want a second opinion to confirm a diagnosis or choose the right treatment.

Well now, getting that second opinion will be easy, convenient and free, thanks to our new benefit, 2nd.MD. Starting February 1, 2nd.MD can help all U.S. management employees with convenient virtual access to elite experts from top national institutions who are leading in research, clinical trials, and the next generation of health care.

Pet Insurance

Verizon will soon offer a pet insurance benefit to help cover veterinary expenses for your furry companion.

All U.S. management employees will be eligible to purchase pet insurance through MetLife for their dog or cat at a discounted group rate. The coverage will include wellness vet visits, accidents, illness and more for your dogs and cats.

You’ll be able to enroll at any time during the year and you can continue using your current vet or any licensed veterinarian or emergency clinic in the U.S.
