On today's episode of Up To Speed, host Andy Choi takes us to our North End retail store in Boston.

Andy spoke with store manager Andrew Marcey, and specialists Ella Cascino and July Escobar. They all agreed that the store’s location, just footsteps from TD Garden, gives them excellent exposure to help spread the love for Verizon and everything we offer. “When it’s gametime at TD Garden, we come prepared for everything,” Ella said. “Whether it’s someone’s phone dying or they dropped it in the stands, we’re prepared.”

Preparation and the ability to pivot have been key in recent years for this local V Team. Due to COVID-19, the store was forced to close 11 days after opening. When asked what this store represents to him and his team, Andrew answered: “resiliency.”

He also explained how the pandemic gave him a renewed appreciation for our company: “Seeing how other businesses were when COVID hit really made me appreciate this company a lot more – how they treated us, how they supported us.”

A reminder that starting today through May 4, we're celebrating our Small Business Days. Our Small Business Customers can visit our stores throughout these seven days to learn how our resources can help their businesses grow.
