On today’s edition of Up To Speed, host Diana Alvear shared the following updates:

The Oscars

During last night’s Academy Awards ceremony, Verizon’s 5G Ultra Pass played a key role in keeping viewers connected to all the action in real time. The 5G Ultra Pass provided viewers with never-before-seen camera angles through its 360-degree cameras, delivering a truly Oscar-worthy experience.

Verizon Unlimited

Verizon Unlimited is going Ultra! With faster internet speeds, Disney+ and more great features included in the plan, this is a deal you won’t want to miss. Plus, if you sign up now for an unlimited plan, you’ll get all the perks without having to trade in your old phone. But wait, there’s more: Get a 5G phone on us, and you’ll get $1,000 to break up with your old provider.

Stock Together

Speaking of good investments, last week, host Andy Choi spoke with Hans and Sam, who elaborated on the vision and logistics of Stock Together. Today, we featured rave reviews from some of the many V Teamers who love Stock Together, including Senior Engineer Eddie Ervin who hailed it as an example of “the company investing in me, and me investing in the company.”

Senior Manager Veedoola Ramkalawon echoed that sentiment, describing it as a way for Verizon to “thank us and to be part of its future.”

Volunteers in Belgium

Spring has sprung! In that spirit, Marianne Verschueren, part of our Client Management team for Verizon Business, and Patrick Wulteputte, a member of our Systems Architecture team, led a group of V Teamers in Belgium to volunteer at their work site and do some spring cleaning. Together, the group filled 56 large trash bags – including 21 bags teeming with recyclable cans and plastic – making a meaningful impact on their community and the environment.
