On today’s episode of Up To Speed, host Raquel Wilson traveled to New York City where she visited the Fearless Girl statue on Wall Street. It’s the perfect place to celebrate International Day of the Girl, an observance that shines a light on the challenges girls face worldwide and what we can do to promote their empowerment.

Today also marks another special moment: the launch of Women’s CoLab, a platform that provides women with a library of resources to grow, thrive and advance in their careers.

After seeing millions of women downshift their careers last year, Verizon ran to the crisis and brought together partners and leaders who all share the same vision — to build a future of work that works for women. Those partners include Accenture, Walmart, Mastercard, The Estee Lauder Companies, Degreed, Scary Mommy, The Female Quotient and many more.

Starting today, users can access free courses, training, insights from industry leaders and strategies to challenge barriers. Plus, there are interactive communities where you can connect with women and help each other reach your dreams.

All you have to do is go to WeAreWomensColab.com and build your profile based on what you want to achieve and how you want to grow. It’s easy and it’s free.

To commemorate the launch, we’re hosting an event today that will feature a series of panels and talks from industry leaders on the most pressing issues impacting women in the workplace. It’s truly an all-star lineup, so make sure to tune in at 12 PM ET/9 AM PT today and keep an eye out for a few familiar faces.

You can also follow Women’s CoLab on social - Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube for a daily dose of empowerment and updates on the latest events, new content and workshops.
