The 5G story that keeps getting bigger

If you missed Hans and the CES Keynote earlier this week, the full replay is available on the web. He announced that customers in parts of six new cities, Arlington, TX; Miami, Anaheim, Phoenix, San Francisco, and St. Louis, can now sign up for Verizon’s 5G Home Internet.

Not only that, Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband service is now available to customers in Colorado Springs, CO, Columbia, SC and Knoxville, TN. And our Nationwide 5G service is now available for 230 million people in 2,700 US cities. Plus, eligible 5G Home and wireless customers can get up to 12 months of the brand new discovery+, on us!

Skyward and UPS

What’s that in the sky? It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Skyward, our drone services company, announcing our collaboration with UPS Flight Forward. The plan is to deliver retail products via drones connected to Verizon 4G LTE, as well as 5G testing and integration for delivery, starting with The Villages in Florida.

A big day for Samsung fans

At today’s Unpacked event, the new Galaxy S21 family of devices took center stage with features that consumer and business customers will love, like 5G, apps for business and Knox ‒ the defense-grade security platform built into Samsung mobile devices. The Galaxy S21 lineup will be available for preorder starting today, and will be released on January 29.
