On today’s Up To Speed, host Jess Bonardi shared the following updates:

Group First Response

This week, Verizon Public Sector and Motorola Solutions announced Group First Response, a mission-critical, push-to-talk solution that leverages LTE to enable first responders to communicate seamlessly via voice, data and video across different devices.

Group First Response can be integrated with land mobile radio (LMR) systems, extending push-to-talk communications to public safety users without radios and outside coverage areas. That means our First Responders can have group calls via voice and video, share files, work with dispatchers and request video in those critical moments when seconds matter.

Congrats to our Public Sector team for helping strengthen such an important part of our lives.

Women in Business: Public Sector

Tami Erwin wrapped our insightful Women in Business series this week with a conversation with groundbreaking female leaders in the public sector. Their discussion focused on leadership, the role of female mentors and employee care and wellness.
