My Why: Thomas Stobaugh

This week’s My Why episode highlights the Global Network and Technology team’s Thomas Stobaugh, a California engineer who loves the great outdoors and can speak to the live-saving capabilities of Verizon’s growing network.
After an internship experience that helped him build out-of-this-world communication systems for spacecraft, Thomas joined Verizon in 2014. When he isn’t camping or hunting, he’s volunteering with the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team. Earlier this year, Thomas was called to help when a hiker was injured during a rock fall, and when his team’s radio communications went out, Verizon was there to help Thomas save the day!
