This week’s My Why features Aleena Taufiq, a data scientist who, in her spare time, builds everything from robots to Slurpee machines.

Hailing from Irving, Texas, Aleena works on the Global Technology Solutions team, for whom she builds machine-learning models and develops analytics-based solutions for different teams across Verizon. Her passion for mechanical engineering drives her motivation to make a difference in the world.
