Outside-the-box at-home work set-ups

We were hoping that when we opened the Good mailbox we’d get to see some remarkable at-home workstations - and boy, did you deliver.

Thanks to all of you who submitted your pictures and videos. We were most impressed by the level of creativity on display, not to mention some of the displays on display. (See Construction Engineer Brian Dean’s set-up below.)

One World: Together At Home

Speaking of which, you won’t need a big screen TV to enjoy this Saturday’s broadcast of One World: Together at Home. With performances by Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift, among dozens of other A-list artists, Global Citizen’s epic concert event will celebrate and support health care workers and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

The One World: Together At Home special will run in two parts: There will be a global multi-hour digital livestream running from 2 PM ET to 8 PM ET, and a 2-hour broadcast from 8 PM. ET to 10 PM ET. You can stream it on Yahoo and watch on Fios TV (Channels 501 and 604).

Verizon will be running ads during the broadcast focusing on students served by the Verizon Innovative Learning initiative.

See the full list of artists and celebrities who will be appearing and tune in Saturday.
