LOS ANGELES, CA — February 11, 2020 — Today, on The 2020 MAKERS Conference stage in Los Angeles, MAKERS, Verizon Media’s brand dedicated to accelerating the women’s movement is announcing NOT DONE -- a new documentary, presented by MAKERS and Verizon and supported by P&G -- marking the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote. NOT DONE, debuting this summer, will expand upon the critically acclaimed PBS documentary series MAKERS: Women Who Make America, examining how feminist changemakers of today are carrying the torch and making real progress toward true equality.

The hour-long film, which airs on PBS June 30 at 8pm ET as part of its summer-long celebration of female trailblazers in honor of the women’s vote centennial, will survey the landscape of today’s multifaceted women’s movement, intercutting powerful contemporary archive and compelling interviews with activists, writers, celebrities, athletes, and politicians to bring these stories to life and connect the dots between the past and the present moment of transformation.

The documentary will feature conversations, stories, and insights from today’s most exceptional women (and male allies), including: actor and writer Michael Ian Black; founder, Me Too Movement, Tarana Burke; attorney and professor Kimberlé Crenshaw; co-founder, Black Lives Matter Global Network, Patrisse Cullors; CAA agent Maha Dakhil; actress, director, and producer America Ferrera; co-founder, Black Lives Matter Global Network, Alicia Garza; writer Roxane Gay; teenage climate activist Tokata Iron Eyes; journalist Jodi Kantor; attorney Roberta Kaplan; television executive Katie McGrath; Olympic runner and activist Alysia Montaño; entrepreneur and parental leave advocate Alexis Ohanian; Academy Award-winning actress, director, and producer Natalie Portman; writer and executive producer Shonda Rhimes; actress and activist MJ Rodriguez; co-chair, The Women’s March, Linda Sarsour; attorney Nina Shaw; writer and director Jill Soloway; feminist icon Gloria Steinem; journalist Kara Swisher; president and CEO, TIME’S UP, Tina Tchen; journalist and author Rebecca Traister; journalist Megan Twohey; and freshman congresswoman Lauren Underwood (D-IL).

Executive produced by Emmy-winning filmmaker and MAKERS founder/executive producer Dyllan McGee, produced by Alexandra Moss, and marking the directorial debut of Sara Wolitzky, NOT DONE was created by an all-female and non-binary production crew.

NOT DONE is the first recipient of Verizon’s Future Fund, a $5 million commitment to support new and emerging female talent across entertainment and technology.
