Currently competing in his third full season with the Verizon IndyCar Series and racing for Sarah Fisher Harman Racing, Josef Newgarden is one of North America’s top rising young racing talents. We recently caught up with Josef to chat about the apps that he finds most useful in keeping his fast-paced lifestyle in order.
- American Express – It’s very useful for me because I’m always checking my transactions and making sure there’s nothing coming up that I don’t expect.
- Waze – Waze is a really good GPS app. It’s great for planning routes because it has live traffic updates from other drivers.
- Dark Sky – Dark Sky is the best weather app for predicting weather and telling you if it’s going to rain or not – and that’s really important for us at the race track because we’re always checking the weather.
- INDYCAR14 – If you want to stay up to date with all of the best IndyCar action, INDYCAR14 is your app.
- Vine – I like Vine a lot. It’s an interesting video app that’s been around for a bit now, but I find that the funniest videos on the Internet are on Vine. I don’t make a bunch of Vine videos myself but I like watching them. There are tons of good ones out there.
