In support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Verizon Wireless is presenting the Clothesline project to the city of Mobile. The Clothesline Project gives local victims of domestic violence a chance to break their silence and encourages others to get help. Shirts decorated by the victims contain powerful messages of abuse, survival and a chance at a new life. They will be displayed at different venues in Mobile during the month of October.

WHY:
To help victims of domestic violence break their silence and encourage others to get help.
