ORANGEBURG, NY — In response to the growing demand for the company's voice and data products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, has opened a new store on Route 59 West in Nanuet. Verizon Wireless also operates two kiosks in the Palisades Mall and a retail store in the Nanuet Mall.
The new store is located a quarter-mile west of the Nanuet Mall next to Staples. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
"Demand for our wireless services continues to grow, as more people take advantage of digital calling plans like America's Choice and our popular Mobile Web services," said Stephen Grant, store manager, Verizon Wireless.
The Nanuet Communications Store is one of 21 new retail locations Verizon Wireless opened over the past 12 months in the New York Metro area to make shopping for wireless products and services easier and more convenient for customers. The new stores created more than 300 sales and customer service positions as well as business opportunities for local construction, architectural and real estate firms.
