FiOS Mobile App Adds FX, FXX, FXM, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo WILD to Its Live, TV Everywhere Viewing Lineup

NEW YORK – Taking in episodes of Russian spies hidden in plain sight, plotting at Paddy’s Pub and roaring polar bears is no longer limited to in-home viewing. Verizon FiOS TV customers now have even more to watch with five Fox channels available on the FiOS Mobile App, which customers are using more and more in the home and on the go.
The addition of the networks -- FX, FXX, FXM, Nat Geo WILD and National Geographic Channel -- increases to 93 the number of live, outside the home channels available on virtually any device. TV consumption across devices grew 388 percent year over year, according to Adobe Digital Index 2014.
FiOS TV customers who have the free FiOS Mobile App can now access these channels to watch live popular shows such as FX’s “The Americans,” and National Geographic Channel’s “Brain Games,” or tune-in to hit comedies including FXX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” outside the home. FiOS TV customers can currently watch FX, FXX, FXM, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo WILD within the home through the FiOS Mobile app.

The FiOS Mobile App offers access to some of the most popular television shows and movies via the iPad, iPhone, select Android tablets and phones, and Kindle Fire tablets, delivering anytime, anywhere access for FiOS customers. FiOS TV customers who are FiOS Internet customers can also use their mobile devices and tablets to watch up to 168 live linear national channels in home.

80,000 On-Demand Titles, Sports, Movies, and Total DVR Control
The FiOS Mobile App* also offers in-home and on-demand content, including more than 80,000 titles from users’ favorite channels, such as FX, FXX, National Geographic Channel, HBO, Food Network, HGTV, TNT, TBS and more.
Additionally, FiOS Mobile makes organizing and managing content easy and convenient. The easy-to-use functions include Remote DVR, TV Listings, My Bookmarks, My Library, On Demand, DVR, Settings and Help. In addition, the FiOS Mobile App offers parental controls, so parents can decide what content they want to allow their children to access.
FiOS TV offers a broad collection of programming on TV and industry-leading picture quality with more than 625 all-digital channels including up to 185 HD channels and over 100,000 Video On Demand titles and growing.
