In the featured image, Pedro Valdez (left) is standing with CEO and Chairman of Verizon, Lowell McAdam.

Pedro Valdez is a field technician and a customer service advocate at Verizon. As an advocate, Valdez meets with customers who are experiencing service issues and makes sure their issues are quickly resolved and nonrecurring.

In the past year, Valdez met with approximately 1,000 customers and avoided close to 600 truck dispatches, which would have normally been rolled out to service customers.  His diligent work resulted in $108,000 in savings for his team in Hollis, Queens.

Because of his efforts and his team’s significant year-over-year improvements, Valdez is one of Verizon’s Credo Award winners – an award recognizing employees who exemplify the spirit of Verizon’s Credo.

Valdez represents the spirit of Verizon’s field technicians everywhere: employees who go above and beyond to serve customers and bring efficiency to the workplace.

Congratulations to Pedro Valdez and his team for their big win. The Verizon family couldn’t be more proud to work alongside you.
