In meetings with customers, we hear a lot about their passion for sports, and today, more wishes are granted.

ESPN today launched the availability of ESPN Deportes and ESPNEWS on WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the award-winning WatchESPN app and on Apple TV to FiOS TV customers.

In addition, FiOS TV customers can log onto the sports channels through the My Verizon portal and with their user name a password, access ESPNews and ESPN Deportes for 24/7 news and information about sports, as well as 67 other TV everywhere linear channels as the borderless living concept kicks into high gear.

The debut of the two channels appears just in time for the second leg of Spain’s Supercopa Final between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, scheduled to appear live tonight on ESPN Deportes at 5 p.m. ET.  An English-language feed to the match will also be available to fans on ESPN3.

Verizon FiOS TV customers will now be able to access the Spanish-language sports network as well as the 24/7 news and information network in addition to others currently available via WatchESPN, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beater.

ESPN Deportes – first launched in January 2004 and currently available in more than 5.8 million Nielsen Hispanic cable households nationwide – is a 24-hour Spanish-language sports network devoted to serving the U.S. Latino sports fans by offering high-quality, culturally relevant sports programming.

The network currently provides the most diverse sports programming available on Spanish-language television and more than 117 hours of original studio content every week. Live events include: Mexican League Soccer (Liga and Copa MX), 2014 & 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying, UEFA Europa League, International Friendlies, Spain’s Supercopa & Copa del Rey Final, MLS, Brazilian League Soccer, UEFA European Football Championship (Euro2016), Euro 2016 qualifying matches, Dutch League, Major League Baseball, Caribbean Series, NFL's Monday Night Football, the College Football Bowl Championship Series, NBA, exclusive telecast of Friday Night Fights, among others.

Our TV everywhere stable continues to grow, and we hope you’ll enjoy these two new sports channels that join the Tennis Channel, our most recent TV everywhere sports channel added earlier this week just in time for the US Open.
