Verizon Wireless Announces New Retail Locations in Idaho

To meet the growing popularity of wireless service, demand for wireless services in the area, Verizon Wireless, the country's largest wireless provider, has opened a new retail store in Meridian. In addition, the company today announced plans to open communications stores near the Magic Valley Mall in Twin Falls and in the Boise Town Square Mall later this year. By year end, Verizon Wireless will have doubled its store presence in the state, going from three to six locations.

The new Meridian store is located in the Meridian Crossroads shopping center at 1400 N. Eagle Road, Suite 106 and provides space to handle customer service transactions, including bill payment and account questions, as well as full-service sales space.

"Demand for our wireless services is growing steadily," said Marni Walden, president of Verizon Wireless' Mountain Region. "Adding new stores to our existing company-owned retail locations will make shopping for our wireless products and services easier and more convenient for customers. And, they'll receive expert advice on purchasing a phone and price plan from our specially-trained representatives."

Verizon Wireless' retail stores offer a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including MobileWeb, Mobile MessengerSM and Mobile Office.

The stores also offer a full line of digital wireless phones and accessories in all price ranges, as well as hands-free car kits and headsets. Verizon Wireless offers customers high-quality service on the most extensive wireless network in the U.S. and a Worry Free Guaranteesm that underscores the company's commitment to superior customer service.

"Our new stores will bring many benefits to customers and our expansion will have a positive economic impact in the communities where we're located," Walden said.
The Meridian Crossroads store is managed by Lori Glidden and is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Verizon Wireless has 49 Communications Stores and Kiosks in the Mountain Region. Nationwide, the company operates 1,400 retail stores, the largest retail chain of wireless retail outlets in the country.
