IRVINE, Calif., - Verizon Wireless today announced the executive team for its Southern California region. Regional president and general manager Mike Finley provides strategic direction for his new team that includes:
- Clay Berryhill, director of retail stores
- Kristi Kirkpatrick, director of direct sales
- Lily Huang, director of indirect sales
- Conley Smith, director of marketing
- Erin Edwards, director of financial planning and analysis
Finley is a pioneer in cellular industry, launching Celluland, a national cellular retail franchise operation in 1985. Most recently he served as vice president for Verizon Wireless' Sierra Pacific Region where in eight months he opened 17 new retail locations from Sacramento to San Diego. In his new role, Finley and his team are focused on increasing customer satisfaction through products and services and network enhancements.
"Our Southland leadership team has hit the ground running," said Finley. "In the past few months we've launched SingleRate (a national flat-rate calling plan), Mobile Web (wireless internet access), and five-state home calling area plans, and reduced rates for Baja roaming and Mexico long distance. We've also made a series of network improvements throughout the region, not only to support the Democratic National Convention but also to increase our call-handling capacity and network quality throughout the Southland."
"This region includes three of the top 100 markets in the country. My team is excited about what we have to offer and our opportunities to attract and serve customers," added Finley.
