Verizon Wireless Names New Sales Manager for Washington

Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, has named Wilhelmina Coar as manager of direct business sales in Washington.
In her new position, Coar will be responsible for sales plans and market strategies as well as managing a team of business account representatives. She brings more than 22 years in the telecommunications industry to her new role, most recently as a business sales manager for VoiceStream Wireless in Bothell.
Coar began her telecommunications career in 1979 as an operator with AT&T, and then joined U S WEST Dex as a sales consultant. She held a series of increasingly responsible positions with U S WEST Dex including managing a team of account representatives, serving as sales manager, and managing internet sales. She received numerous awards and recognitions for her sales and management skills during her tenure.
