HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- Wireless customers in the Lake Norman area
are taking advantage of free phone tune-ups, giveaways, and other specials
this week as Bell Atlantic Mobile marks the grand opening of the
company's newest Communications Store, at 9705-B Sam Furr Road in
Huntersville.
The grand opening celebration will be held tomorrow, Friday, March 19,
and will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 a.m., with local
Chamber members Bill Russell and Nikki Saunders on hand to assist, and
will be joined by Lake Norman Store Manager Jo Cooper-Kisiah.
Following the ceremony, there will be free food and beverages, as well as
several giveaways, with WNKS-FM broadcasting live from 11:00 a.m.
until 1:00 p.m. Customers can come in for free phone tune-ups, and may
register to win a digital phone during Grand Opening Week, March 15
through March 20.
Cooper-Kisiah, who has been an employee of Bell Atlantic Mobile for
eleven years, was transferred from the Sharon Corners store to manage

increasing population in the Lake Norman area, Bell Atlantic Mobile
found a strong demand for wireless services here, which is why we have
opened this store," added Cooper-Kisiah. "This new location will ensure
that our growing number of wireless customers receive greater
accessibility to the best service and latest technology that our company has
to offer."
