TELEMARKETING FIRM TO OPEN CENTER
IN LEWIS
COUNTY

Tele-Response Center Inc. operation to create 120
jobs

WESTON, W.VA. -- Tele-Response Center Inc., a
Philadelphia-based
telemarketing company, today announced that it will locate a new
center in Weston, creating up to 120 jobs.

The center, which is scheduled to open June 1, will be located in the
former L.A. Joe buiding on U.S. Route 33 east of Weston.

Tele-Response is an outbound telemarketing company that provides
services for a number of clients, including social and fraternal
organizations across the country. The company has approximately 200
employees at operations in Pennsylvania as well as several smaller
operations in West Virginia.

Tele-Response President Stuart Discount cited a quality labor pool and
telecommunications infrastructure as key factors in the company's
decision to locate in Lewis County. "This area offers all the
things
we require to help in our expansion," said Discount.
"Tele-Response
and Lewis County will work very well together."

"It's a pleasure to welcome Tele-Response to our community,"
said Pat
Minehardt, president of the Lewis County Economic Development
Authority. "We look forward to working with Tele-Response to help
them succeed and become a good corporate citizen in Lewis County."

"Once again, our state's outstanding, productive and loyal work
force
-- combined with a technologically advanced telecommunications network
-- has attracted an expanding business," said Governor Gaston
Caperton. "We're delighted to have Tele-Response join West
Virginia's
improving economy and continued success."

"Diversification is a critical component of sustained economic
growth," said Rep. Bob Wise [D-W.Va.]. "Tele-Response will be
a
strong addition to West Virginia's diversified business
portfolio."

"Tele-Response is the sixth company in the last 17 months to choose
West Virginia for its business expansion," said Dennis Bone, president
and CEO of Bell Atlantic-West Virginia, Inc. "The hard work of the
Office of the Future project and local economic developers has paid off
again, this time in Lewis County."

The Office of the Future project, whose mission is to recruit
information-intensive businesses to West Virginia, has led to the
creation of more than 8,000 jobs in fields such as data processing,
telemarketing and customer service since its inception in 1990.

Tele-Response currently is recruiting both full- and part-time
telemarketing representatives, as well as clerical, secretarial and
supervisory positions. The firm will offer competitive wages and
benefits. The Clarksburg Job Services office is coordinating the
hiring process.
