Are you getting ready for a trip overseas? Or to set sail on an international cruise? One thing you don’t want to forget is international service from Verizon.

Even if you’re determined to spend some time off the grid during your journey, having a working mobile device can still be a nice option for those times you need directions to your next amazing destination or simply want to check in with friends and family back home.

Here's how to set up international data service on your Verizon Wireless device:

  1. Go to the Verizon Wireless International Trip Planner.
  2. Log in for the best experience, or continue as a guest.
  3. Enter your destination or cruise ship name – for example, “France” or “Harmony of the Seas.”
  4. Choose the Verizon Wireless device(s) you’ll be using so we can check compatibility.
  5. Estimate your usage using the tool and then pick your plan.

That’s it. You're ready to go.

Whether you choose TravelPass, a monthly international plan or a pay as you go option, adding this step to your cruise planning can help you have a more relaxing and fun trip – not to mention making it easier to share those important real-time vacation photos with the folks back home.
