For the ninth consecutive year, Verizon was placed as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global. Gartner’s Network Services report assesses the ability to execute and completeness of vision of enterprise-class networking services worldwide. This acknowledgment comes at an important inflection point where global networks are experiencing rapid change, driven by the enterprises’ growing adoption of cloud IT services and the emergence of new software defined network (SDN) technologies.

Gartner notes that “Leaders shape the direction of the market by extending their coverage, developing new class-leading capabilities and new commercial models, and deploying these at scale.

“Verizon takes great pride in the quality and performance of our network and the services we deliver to our global clients,” said Martin Burvill, senior vice president, Global Operations, Verizon Enterprise Solutions. “It is our goal to be best-in-class and we believe we are hitting that mark as illustrated by being named a Leader in Gartner’s latest Magic Quadrant report for Network Services.”
