Verizon to Demonstrate Grid Modernization Solutions, Wearables at DistribuTECH

Verizon Enterprise Solutions will once again exhibit at DistribuTECH, the world’s largest annual transmission and distribution conference and exposition, at the San Diego Convention Center Feb. 3–5.

Visit booth #2141 to see demonstrations of how Verizon’s technology enables grid modernization initiatives geared to updating aging infrastructure. Verizon also will showcase its Internet of Things technology tailored to this industry.

“As a trusted global technology partner, Verizon has the capabilities and scale to drive meaningful change in the industry,” said Michael Brander, managing director, energy and utilities practice, Verizon Enterprise Solutions. “This event is an opportunity to engage with energy and utility companies that want to reinvent themselves and adapt to the industry’s changing landscape.”

A host of strategic providers, including Itron, Cisco, Grid Net, Siemens, Sierra Wireless and others, will be on hand to demonstrate their leading-edge solutions — operating on Verizon’s 4G LTE network — that help energy and utility companies to enhance operating efficiency and service performance.

Drop by to experience how Verizon is:

  • Building its advanced end-to-end platform that communicates with and controls meter information and feeds customer billing systems
