More than 10,000 veterans are now V Teamers and some continue to serve today. Verizon has a long history of supporting our Military, and has recently been recognized as being named the #1 Military Friendly Company for the second year in a row. You’ll even see some of our team featured in upcoming customer campaigns.
But our support doesn’t end there. For a limited time, active-duty military, reservists, Gold Star families and veterans can get $100 when switching or activating a new 4G LTE smartphone on a new line of wireless service.
Veterans and non-active members will receive a Prepaid Mastercard and Active military will receive a bill credit. To get the military discount, they can simply log in to their account and choose the unlimited plans they need.

Throughout the month, you’ll see many military employee stories and spotlights of programs we support to show how much we appreciate our military employees and customers and their loved ones.
- May 10 is Military Spouse Appreciation Day, a day when we show appreciation for contributions and sacrifices of spouses of our military members. Don’t miss a spotlight on one of our own V Teamers who is married to an active duty soldier and the support she received from Verizon over the years.

- On Memorial Day, our Veterans Advisory Board (VAB) employee resource group will represent Verizon at the Memorial Day Observance at The Wall in Washington, D.C.
