Another win for Verizon Connect

In case you missed the latest Commercial Telematics Vendors Competitive Ranking report by ABI Research, Verizon Connect ranked No. 1 in innovation for fleet management systems globally and was also named an industry leader in implementation.

Verizon Connect's fleet management system helps businesses manage their fleet of vehicles and assets and enables companies to reduce costs, improve efficiency and ensure compliance across their entire fleet operation. Thanks to advancements in artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision and Internet of Things (IoT), Verizon Connect has moved from delivering products to delivering extraordinary experiences.

“To be recognized in fleet management is a real endorsement of all the work we’ve been doing,” said Peter Mitchell, Chief Technology Officer of Verizon Connect. “We’re really proud of the work of all of our teams across the globe to achieve this.”

Mobile air quality lab

Aclima, an environmental intelligence company, has developed a networked, mobile air quality lab. We Mean Business

Yesterday, Verizon announced a $1 million dollar grant to We Mean Business, a global coalition of nonprofits working with businesses to take action on climate change. The funding will provide one million small and medium sized businesses from around the world with tech-enabled carbon footprint quantification tools and the education to enable a 50% reduction of their carbon emissions by 2030. The ultimate goal is to get all of these businesses to net zero before 2050. This grant furthers our commitment through Citizen Verizon.
