On today’s special edition of Up To Speed Live, Hans and team discussed our 3Q Results.

Highlights included:

Hans Vestberg kicked it off by saying “This is something extraordinary we’ve done in the third quarter. I think that opening video, which covers everything that we’ve been doing, is the longest we’ve ever had. I can’t thank the V Teamers enough for all that you’ve done.”

Matt Ellis reviewed the third quarter financial results which, despite challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, include a lot of good news from across our business units.

With the launch of our 5G Nationwide we were able to raise our guidance for the fourth quarter.

Krista Bourne shared our new “Call For Kindness” campaign as we enter the busy holiday season. As we continue to focus on safety for our employees and our customers, we’ll be wearing masks. While our faces may be covered, behind those masks we are smiling. We are all people. We are all family. We’ll continue to deliver kindness and expect the same in return.

Kyle Malady announced this quarter’s Credo award winner - everyone on the Global Network & Technology team for our 5G deployment. This award is going to thousands of people because it literally takes that many people working together to handle this massive undertaking.

Andy moderated a panel of customer-facing V Teamers who asked questions answered by Hans, Tami Erwin, Ronan Dunne, Diego Scotti, Guru Gowrappan, Kyle, Craig Silliman and Rose Kirk.

Hans’ advice for dinner table conversation with family and friends was to instead take a long walk because there is so much to cover! He suggests mentioning our focus on safety, our long list of third quarter accomplishments, and finally how our 5G is built right. For that final one you can talk about our Ultra Wideband, our nationwide coverage, MEC, etc.
