On today’s Up To Speed Live, host Andy Choi shared the following updates:

Up to Speed recap

Monday: To kick off Native American Heritage Month, Andy made “Three Sister Soup” and talked to Malachi Hammonds of NAV to discuss how the employee resource group moves our business forward.

Tuesday: We went to the land down under to learn more about V Teamer Andy Lamrock, a former professional hockey player who is using his passion for hockey to give back to communities in need.

Thursday: Andy went to Chicago to battle AR Monsters and learn more about how Verizon 5G is playing a big role in one of Niantic’s newest games, Urban Legends - a multi-player, augmented reality experience.

Verizon Business Group partners with Visionable.

VBG announced a partnership with Visionable, a software company reimagining health and social care. The partnership will deliver a single secure infrastructure for healthcare providers across the APAC and EMEA regions. The focus will be under the banner of Care Everywhere and a specialized technology-led Connected Healthcare Center, which is set to open in the UK in 2022.

5G Partnership with Lockheed Martin

VBG continues to make news with the announcement of a strategic 5G partnership with Lockheed Martin that will focus on innovation for the U.S. Department of Defense. The Public Sector team is at the forefront of digital modernization for the military, leading 5G engagements at installations throughout the U.S.

Tami Erwin’s Linkedin Live Session

Don’t miss VBG CEO Tami Erwin’s LinkedIn Live session next Wednesday at 12:15 PM ET on the Verizon Linkedin page. She will be joined by two Purple Heart recipients, Retired U.S. Army Specialist and Iraq War POW Shoshana Johnson and Former Marine Corps Counterintelligence Specialist Joel McCollough, for a discussion on service, courage and freedom.
