On today’s episode of Up To Speed, host Raquel Wilson highlighted the progress we’ve made with our Purpose Coin initiative.

The Purpose Coin’s origin can be traced to a November 2019 Verizon leadership forum, when our CEO, Hans Vestberg, distributed 300 Purpose Coins to help us recognize V Teamers who are building human networks, fostering community and working to make the world a better place. Since then, the coins have changed hands more than 1,360 times worldwide.

As we highlighted in today’s Up To Speed episode, Verizon Consumer Group Project Manager Deborah Fraser was honored with the Purpose Coin for her exceptional commitment to fostering community at work.

If you have a coin and would like to pass it along to another worthy recipient, scan the coin’s QR code or go to vzpurposecoin.com and follow those instructions.

We love to see your coin passes and hear your stories, so make sure you use the hashtag #ForwardTogether if you post on social media about passing along your Purpose Coin!

Tell us what you think of Up To Speed.
