On today’s episode of Up To Speed Live, host Raquel Wilson shared some of the warm and fuzzy stories we’ve recently received in our Good Mailbox.

Our first smile-worthy note celebrates Jason Scott, a Retail Manager and 14-year V Teamer from Pasadena, Texas. Jason recently put in the extra time and effort to earn his MBA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Congratulations, Jason!

While we’re at it, we have another graduate to celebrate: DanAngelo Bell, Retail Manager from Benton, Arkansas. With encouragement from his District Manager and the help of Verizon’s Tuition Assistance Program, DanAngelo proudly became a first generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Arkansas State University. Way to go, DanAngelo!

It’s so great when V Teamers benefit from Verizon’s Tuition Assistance Program and pursue their dreams of furthering their education.

Our next story isn't about a graduate, but just give her a couple of years. Last week, Pete DeLeon from the Communications team and his wife Tess welcomed a baby girl, Emilia Jun DeLeon. Welcome to the world, Emilia. We can’t wait to meet you as a future V Teamer.

And if you’re looking to do good on this Good Mailbox Tuesday, make sure you check out the new Volunteer Portal with all the volunteer opportunities you need for next Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of service.

We know there’s a lot more good news out there. Please share it with your fellow teammates by sending us a note at good@verizon.com.

Tell us what you think of Up To Speed.
