It’s the first day of February which means it’s also the first day of Black History Month. Our BOLD Employee Resource Group, which stands for Black Originators Leaders and Doers Employee Resource Group, has some entertaining and thought-provoking events coming up.
The BOLD community has been growing by leaps and bounds and now with over 8,000 members. Last year, they held over 20 events and members volunteered over 4,000 hours.
Upcoming events
One of the events happening this month will bring together our BOLD and NAV ERGs to highlight Afro Indigenous dishes. We’ll also be highlighting our talented V Teamers — including Black engineers — during Engineers Week which starts February 21.
BOLD will also sponsor a LinkedIn Live discussion between Krista Bourne and Verizon Board Member Shellye Archambeau on Thursday, February 17 at 12 PM ET/ 9 AM PT.
