Happy Monday V Team! On today’s Up To Speed, host Raquel Wilson debuted our new series, “3 Questions with…”. The series gives our leaders a chance to share important updates by answering three simple questions: What’s new? How are we delivering our strategy? How are we doing?

Our Chief Human Resources Officer, Sam Hammock, kicked off the first episode by sharing updates on some of the ways the HR team is investing in the V Team and our business:

  1. Work Forward: We want to ensure everyone can work in the best ways possible. To make the experience a little simpler, we are retiring our return-to-office certification tool September 2 for all employees, including international, except for those in California, where local requirements require us to keep it in place.
  2. Our 3Q VZPulse survey: 86% of employees responded to the latest survey, which was a quick check-in to understand how well V Teamers feel we’re using their feedback and their overall work experience. Sam shared that all signs point to employees feeling positive, while sharing some ways we can all contribute to Verizon being the best place to work.
  3. Our first-class benefits: One reason we can all feel proud to be on the V Team is because of our Total Rewards package. Sam shared some great benefits employees can take advantage of, such as tutoring and extended backup care.

Sam closed the episode by sharing the number one action we can all take to continue strengthening our workplace and culture - keep providing feedback.
