Happy Monday, V Team! Our Boston week-in-residence is here, and on today’s live episode of Up to Speed Live, host Andy Choi shared the following updates while reporting from our Boston Hub:

Shipping up to Boston

Andy kicked off the show previewing our week in Boston to highlight small businesses, our state-of-the-art Hub and Innovation Center, and our New England V Team. Here’s what we did today, followed by a sneak peek at what you can expect to see this week:

  • Monday: We explored all things Boston with the help of our New England V Teamers. (More details below!)
  • Tuesday: We’ll catch up with Kevin Service, leader of our Network Operations team, as well as our Fios techs in South Boston.
  • Thursday: We’re checking out our retail express store, just footsteps from TD Garden.
  • Friday: We’ll be recapping our entire Boston trip with a few cool surprises.

New England V Team

Andy showed us how he’d spent some time getting to know our Verizon Business team and why they love working at our state-of-the-art Hub. V Teamers shared their passion for working at Verizon, and celebrated working in a building geared towards next-level innovation.

Music to our ears in Nashville

The Verizon Business Group isn’t just doing great things in Boston! VBG Director of Channel Enablement Sarah Marsh checked in from the first of eight partner road shows in Nashville.

Sarah highlighted how these events enhance our partner conversations with reps from the public sector, business markets, global enterprise and beyond.

Small Business Days

One of the main reasons we’re in Boston is to highlight the importance of our upcoming Small Business Days.

Starting April 28 and running through May 4, our small-business customers can make an appointment or just visit participating stores to receive a complimentary tech evaluation with our trained Verizon Business Experts. Our teams can also set them up with the right 5G plans, devices, security, internet and other services for their business.

We’ll also be offering small-business owners up to $1,500 to cover the cost of switching to Verizon wireless, with one month on us.

Maybe Crazy

Andy and Associate Director of Verizon Business Dominique Deville introduced one of our small-business customers, Monica Yu.

As owner of fashion luxury streetwear brand Maybe Crazy, Monica praised Verizon for helping her business in many ways, allowing her to open new locations in New York and New Jersey. She also was on hand to showcase her fantastic fashions in a spirited fashion show at our Hub!

VZPulse+ Survey

Our annual deep-dive VZPulse+ survey will launch Monday, May 2. It’s an opportunity for all of us to play a role in driving meaningful changes and exciting programs that improve the experience for V Teamers throughout our company.

Make sure you take VZPulse+ as soon as you see it! Anyone who completes the survey May 2 will have a chance to snag our most popular Verizon-branded Ultra campaign T-shirt.
