For some people, coming to work each day is a chore. That’s certainly not the case for a group of Verizon employees in Silver Spring, Md., who relish the opportunity.

For these employees, Verizon is a great place to work and a company that truly cares about its employees and its customers.

These employees don’t see Verizon as just a job, but a place where they get to spend time with co-workers who are like family in a supportive environment that welcomes diversity and allows employees to learn, grow and be empowered. They are proud to work for a technology leader that cares about them and does so much to support communities where its employees live and work.

Most importantly, these employees love interacting with and helping customers – the lifeline of Verizon’s business.

Over the years, Verizon has received numerous recognitions for best practices in serving its customers, including older adults by conducting senior technology fairs and consumer education and awareness sessions, and tailoring products and services to meet the needs of the company’s growing customer base.

Verizon continues to set the bar high for other companies to follow.
