Verizon Wireless To Hold Grand Opening Celebration For New Communications Store In Fayetteville

Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, today announced it will hold a celebration to mark the grand opening of its new communications store in Fayetteville.
From Sunday, Feb. 11 until Saturday, Feb. 17, wireless customers in the Fayetteville area are invited to visit the communications store, located at 2043 Skibo Rd., to take advantage of giveaways and register to win a new digital phone. The store will also offer free wireless phone tune-ups, which include software testing, checking power levels and more.
"With our recent launch of digital technology in the Fayetteville area, it was important for us to be make our products and services more readily available," said Jim Holland, Fayetteville store manager. "We hope Fayetteville-area residents will frequent our new location and enjoy all of the grand opening celebration activities we have planned for their benefit."
On Friday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m., Fayetteville Mayor Milo McBride will join Holland for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. As part of the ceremony, Verizon Wireless will donate a digital phone to the Fayetteville Suicide Prevention Program. The following day, Saturday, Feb. 17, customers are invited to enjoy free food and beverages and several giveaways, with The Fox - 99.1 FM broadcasting live from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The new location will offer services such as the popular SingleRateSM plans that offer one low rate with no roaming or long distance charges and a premier line of digital wireless phones and accessories. Mobile Web, the company's wireless Internet-access service, will also be available. The service provides easy-to-use access to the Internet and the option to customize information delivered to the handset.
The new 3,200 square-foot communications store is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and on Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. A staff of full-time professionals will be available to help customers make decisions about calling plans and select phones and accessories including.
