SAN JOSE, Calif. - Coupon clippers and sales-circular surveyors now can see, print and cash in online through Verizon SuperPages.com/coupons beginning Aug. 10. With millions of coupon users in the U.S., the ability to review offers from national stores and products is important to online shoppers. New deals with SmartSource.com, KeyCode.com and ShopLocal.com provide SuperPages.com users with product coupons, store discounts and advertisements while locating and comparing products and services or bidding online --- all on one trusted site.

Known as a leading Internet yellow pages site, SuperPages.com debuted several shopping options last fall to help online shoppers easily find products and services both nationally and in their neighborhoods. In addition to those options, the new deals will bring the following benefits to Superpages.com:

  • SmartSource.com coupons can be printed from a consumer's home computer and used in local supermarkets and grocery stores. The coupons are updated weekly, and savings can total up to $100 per visit.

  • KeyCode.com, a leading offer-comparison site, provides coupons and special discounts for national retail chains that can be redeemed at more than 7,000 store locations in the U.S. Additionally, KeyCode.com offers over 1,200 coupon codes and special savings links that are updated daily for more than 400 online retailers.

Local sales, specials and deals are ShopLocal.com's specialty. Consumers enter their ZIP codes to see the advertising flyers and circulars of dozens of nearby large and small retailers.

"We're a nation of coupon users who are always looking for the best deal," said Scott Laver, president - Verizon SuperPages.com. "It just makes sense for us to give online shoppers all the information they need to make the best shopping decision on our site."

According to a 2003 study by Forrester Research, grocery store coupon use increased 111 percent from 2001 to 2002, and the trend continues. In fact, 38 percent of U.S. online households use Internet coupons. A survey by Verizon SuperPages.com last spring determined that 4 percent of its site visitors look for coupons at least monthly, and 53 percent would like to see more coupons on SuperPages.com.

To meet that demand, the coupons on SuperPages.com will appear on both separate coupon pages, as well as on listings results.

"No one else brings search, shopping and saving together like SuperPages.com," Laver said.
